New Term
It was a good break for most of us and it is back to hard work again. For this term, the students will be having their usual fitness test which I might say, some of them have improved tremendously in their running timing.
The stuednts will again be learning new skills during their PE lessons when they rotate in their respective levels.
The weather has been unpredictable, so please put on your sunscreen and remember to drink lots of water. Remember that if your lips are dry, it is a sign that your are beginning to dehydrate.
We will have a fantastic half term.

Badminton Activity
The half term is coming to a close and the badminton activity has gone on well for the past weeks. The activity leaders; Miss Kathy Symth and Miss Rebecca Creme have noticed a vast improvement in most of the students, especially those who were new to the game.
The activity days and venue after the Easter break remain the same for all three groups and the fees for the next half term is $123.60. The fees will be for the period 13th April to 5th June, please have your child /ward bring in the fees before the end of this term (cheque adress to S5 Prosports or cash) .

Soccer Freindly against San Yu Adventist School
The boys did well in the game yesterday, defeating the opponents by a 6 - 1 score. The game was the first time the team played together and they did better than expected. The goals was scored by Daniel Woods, Benjamin Woods, Edward Tan (2), Bryan Neubronner and Johann.
The game was also the first competivitve match for many of the boys. More friendlies will definitely be played in the months to come.

Activities; so far.
The activities programme in SJII has been going well for the past three months. With the new attendance tracking system in place, we are able to track errand students who missed activity.
The sporting teams have started having friendlies; the Netball team has been involved in an international schools tournament that takes place every Thursdays. The Newly formed Volleyball team has played its first game beating ICS. The Tennis Team (Girls) will be participating in the coming HCI invitation tournament (28th and 29th March). Meanwhile, the U18 soccer team has played in a mini triangular tournament involving HCI and St. Francis School, which we won (1-0 against HCI and 4-0 against SFS). The U15 played against the ICS U17 and drew 0-0, while the U14 will be playing their first game this Thursday (19th March) against San Yu Adventist school.
All the other activity groups have been going on well too with your continual support, the activity programme in SJII with definitely flourish.
