U14 International Soccer League

The second game was played on the 23 Sept 2008 against OFS. The game satrted brightly for us with many chances that we failed to take. Finally, we made a breakthrough through Thomas Cheong.

Due to our inexperience, we gave away an easy goal immediately. The half finished all squared at 1 - 1.

We took the lead again in the seond half, again through a good finish by Thomas Cheong. Again, through a mixed up, we conceded a soft equaliser.

The rest of the game went on with us asking alot of questions but not getting the reply. Unfortunately, we let in a goal against the run of play.

The game ended 3 - 2 to OFS.

The boys were dishearted after the game but it was a lesson well learnt.

The next game will be on the 3 Oct at SJII, kickoff at 1630 hrs against TTS. Come support us!!!!!

U14 International Schools Soccer League

YAHOO!!!! we won our first game. The boys won against Chatsworth International School by a score of 1-0. To many of the boys, it was their first competitive match.

The boys settled down first and would have scored on a few occasions if they were more adventurous. The first half ened 0-0.

The second half started with a goal line clearance by our goalkeeper Aldwin who did well to keep the ball out. The game got on with both sides having opportunities but not able to capitalise them. The breakthrough finally came in the last 10 mins when Bryan Neubronner broke through the line and scored a goal. Chatsworth never recovered from that and we have our official first win.

Our next game will be on the coming Tuesday (23 Sept, against Overseas Family School. The game will start at 1630 hr and will be played on our school field. Come and support the boys and spur us on to victory.
